Ivo Dominguez Jr. Weather Magick. As climate change continues to provoke more extreme and less predictable weather, there is value in knowing the basics of weather magick for the sake of your home and your garden. Badly done weather magick often makes things worse and is unethical when it just creates a problem elsewhere. This workshop will present methods that work with the wisdom and agreement of nature spirits, and teach you safeguards against many of the issues associated with weather workings. There will be both theory and practical methods. If you have an enhydro quartz crystal bring it, if not I will have loaners.
Priestess Mia. Kwan Yin Self Compassion Massage Meditation. In times of uncertainty, calling in self-compassion is a soothing balm for the weary spirit. Creating a compassionate relationship with yourself creates a stronger foundation for you to do your work in the world and it can boost resilience.
This workshop will include an introduction to building a self compassion practice using meditation and the ho’oponopono mantra. There will be a guided meditation enhanced with massage and ho’oponopono that will help you tune into your body, show yourself compassion, and release any emotions your body may be holding onto. Participants will team up for this meditation experience.
11AM-1PM
Orion Foxwood. Casting the Golden Cord: A Magical Technique for Conscious Co-Creation. You were born to paint the truth of your spirit onto the canvas of form- not to be trapped in another’s painting. How we define magic shapes everything about it. To this end, Orion developed a definition specific to his eco-magical Faery Seership work: "Magic is the art of conscious co-creation leveraging the visible to the invisible and the invisible to the visible". It is human inclusive, not human-centric, to address the core wounds that are damaging all beings on this beautiful earth. From this definition, Orion and his faery wife Brigh developed Casting the Golden Cord as a potent magical technique responsive to what he calls the co-creative call to action for the restoration of earth.
Yeshe Matthews. Cultivating the Lotus Heart. Many of us have endured difficulties and challenges in our lives, and we witness and hold space for the suffering and pain of others. After all, it's part of the spiritual path to find our way mindfully through the rough patches of life's journey, and to be present for each other's journeys. But what happens when we feel so overwhelmed, traumatised, anxious, depressed, or beaten down that our hearts begin to harden, or we begin to doubt our capacity for love, peace, happiness, and joy? Compassion fatigue can be a liability of being empathic and aware in today's world. The Lotus Heart of Kuan Yin, with endless compassion and benefit for all beings, stays soft and open, even when we feel as though we might shut down. The Lotus Heart practice brings together traditional Buddhist metta and tonglen practices, along with creative visualisation, chanting, and divination, to help restore our inner peace, compassion, and resilience. In this ceremony, Priestess Yeshe will hold space and offer perspectives on compassion fatigue, illuminate some ways of identifying that you are at risk for it, and tactics for shifting your perspective and giving yourself space to rejuvenate your ability to feel with, and for, the world. Participants will be guided through a ritual of restoration, and the mantras chanted by the attendees will add to the Mt Shasta Goddess Temple's Million-Mantra count.

Druid Ieuan Amwythig. Alban Hefin is the modern druid celebration of the summer solstice. This is a celebration of the time of greatest light and conquest of the Mabon, born on Alban Eilir (Spring Equinox), crowning conquest over the dark half of the year. In the sense of true paradox, at this point in the year we are reminded that from this point until the winter solstice days will grow shorter and shorter with the Holly King defeating the Oak King for the crown and beginning his rule of the dark half of the year until in turn he is defeated by the Oak King at Alban Arthan (Winter Solstice). This ritual will incorporate folk traditions from the British Isles and traditions born out of the druid revival of the late seventeenth century and commonly found in modern druid practices today. Ieuan Amwythig is a Druid Graduate of the Order of Bards, Ovates, and Druids. He served as chef druid of an independent druid grove (501c3 religious institution) in Nashville from 2009 until 2021. He recently completed his work on a third master’s degree; this one from the University of Wales Trinity Saint David in Celtic Studies. Ieuan recently relocated to Miami, where he hopes to establish a druid grove in the near future.
Cairelle Crow. Blood Song: Wisdom of the Mitochondrial Mothers. Hidden within every person, microscopic treasures sing a genetic melody that links us, womb to womb to womb, through thousands of generations of mothers back to one woman, a mother known as “Mitochondrial Eve.” Her powerful legacy continues today in the precious pearls of wisdom inherited on a cellular level by each of us through the blood and birthing waters of our sacred female ancestors. In this workshop, Cairelle will lead a collective journey into the land of divine female genealogy. She will explore the basics of mitochondrial DNA with illustrations and discussion, and also instruct where and how to discover the particulars of individual maternal lineages. Guided meditation will introduce the Mitochondrial Mothers, those ancient women who traveled Earth through the millennia, bringing forth a magnificent rainbow of daughters whose matrilineal blood songs still flow within us all. The workshop will close with a ceremony to honor all Mother lineages and, on departure, each attendee will carry the reawakened knowledge to manifest and maintain a meaningful connection with the long line of wise women from whom they descend. This workshop is open to all and is suitable for adoptees. Cairelle Crow is a priestess, author, genealogist, and wanderess of wild and holy places who has walked a Goddess path for 30+ years, exploring, learning, and growing. She is the co-foundress of the Sanctuary of Brigid and its flamekeeping cill, Sisters of the Flame, and is co-editor of Brigid's Light, an anthology dedicated to Brigid. She lectures locally, nationally, and internationally on the blending of genealogy with magic and, through her company Sacred Roots, is dedicated to connecting magical people to their ancestral truths.. Ivo Dominguez Jr. Trance Methods For Spirit Work. This class uses both theory and practice to teach about altered states of consciousness and trance induction techniques for individuals and groups. The methods will focus on achieving the states of trance that are most conducive to communicating with spirits. I will talk about how to attract their attention, make a connection, clarify the connection, and communicate in a way that can be understood. Distinctions on what works best for human and nonhuman spirits will be discussed. Methods for grounding, protection, cleansing, and a full return to normal consciousness will be shared as well.
Jose Antonio Leyva Ferre. Serving the Orisha in Lucumi. A central tenet of Lucumi, the term practitioners prefer to Santeria, is service to the Orisha. One of the many ways initiates serve the Orisha is by building sacred spaces that bring together many of the favorite colors, foods, and sacred substances each Orisha prefers. Join Jose and his godchildren for a guided tour of three unique altars created especially for Summer Magick Festival--for the Eggun (Ancestors), Elegua (Messenger of all the Orisha and Owner of the Roads), and Ochun (Orisha of all Sweet Water). He will host a Q & A on Orisha worship, Eggun veneration and other Lucumi practices. Raised by a large extended family of Lucumi initiates as well as practitioners of Caribbean Spiritism and Palo Mayombe, Jose has a profound love and respect for all spiritual traditions. He is also a practitioner of Kriya Yoga, a devotee of Mother Kali, and a former teenage Wiccan.
