Bella & Dusty. Pagan Leadership & The Great Work. This workshop will describe the path to leadership, the fun and frills as well as the down and dirty. What does one have to do to rise to leadership and stay there? What do leaders expect out of peers and how can you best work with other leaders? What do community members expect out of those who present themselves as leaders? What defines the role of High Priestess? We will also discuss how covens are structured and the jobs of the High Priest and High Priestess.

Jason Augustus Newcombe: The Birth of the Tarot of the Greek Magical Papyri  Jason Newcombe has spent three decades designing the new Tarot of the Greek Magical Papyri, and this workshop will provide a behind the scenes look into how and why it was created. The art is based on ancient Greek pottery, late antiquity magical gems and the talismans of the Greek Magical Papyri (PGM). It is a Tarot, in that it has 78(+) cards, but there is a lot more going on with more than 40 talismans incorporated into the deck. It has 56 minor arcana that are based on black figure pottery and 22(+) majors based on red-figure pottery. Part of the Homer oracle is also incorporated in the 2-10 minors, as well as related talismans from the PGM. Unlike most modern Tarot creations it is not really oriented around Qabalah or the Rider-Waite model, but is instead much more directly related to Pythagorean and Platonic philosophy and a chthonic magical journey. Jason is a professional tarot reader, hypnotist, and prolific author of such books as The New Hermetics: 21st Century Magick for Illumination and Power (2004) and Evolutionary Meditation Science: from Stress Reduction to Enlightenment (2020).
